About
If you're on this membership site, you already know plenty about me.
My official background sounds like this..."The COMING TO.GET.HER series is hosted by Brenda Reynolds, founder of BKR Consulting, Inc. Brenda is a seasoned organization development consultant, change and transition expert, executive coach, speaker and Amazon bestselling author of TBD—To Be Determined: Leading with Clarity and Confidence in Uncertain Times. She is a TEDx speaker on "Navigating Transition Fog" and creator of the “Now What?” Transformation® Clarity Card Deck and Kit."
But, what really counts is how my clients describe me. I contracted with a third-party to conduct interviews and here's what they said:
Connector—connects people, ideas and actions. Has contagious positive energy. Creates safe space for necessary conversations. Draws the best out of people.
Trustworthy—open, honest transparent. Easy to work with, no pretenses, progress is accelerated because of how she shows up.
Strategic and Intelligent—offers insights no one else sees, quick read, assesses situations quickly and accurately. Connects the dots. Possesses deep knowledge and tools that are immediately applicable for results.
Fully Invested in Client’s Success—genuinely cares about client success and outcomes. Is there when you need her. Trusted, collaborative partner.
Thought Leader and Inspiring Role Model—a catalyst for positive change. Provides unique insights and perspectives. Not intimidated by complexity.
Diplomatic Truth-Teller—candid. Shares openly in a way that can be heard. Respectful and respected. Eye-opening without being intimidating.
Nimble—customizes her work to the client. Flexible. Adapts readily to client or group needs.
I hold a Masters degree in Organization Development from American University and a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education and Communication. However, my most significant degree is in life experience — where I've learned from teaching 8th and 9th graders, moving from a small town to the suburbs of Philadelphia, holding two corporate leadership roles, making it through two scary pre-term labors, being an entrepreneur, single parenting, embracing life after divorce, doing missions work in South Africa, and guiding others who are dealing with work and life uncertainties.
My two grown sons would say I always pick up the phone when they call, insist on taking their picture anytime I see them, love travel, and bake a mean banana bread. One of my favorite conversations with them included why I made a better boy mom than I would have a girl mom--I took that as a compliment. :)
Mostly, I believe in the power of bringing people together. So, I'm excited to have host of COMING TO.GET.HER on my bio. And are happy you're here!!
